Friends Of Buchan Country Park Photography Competition 2018

The 2018 Friends of Buchan Country Park photography competition is now open!

If you are a visitor to the park with a keen eye for photography then why not enter our competition for your chance to win a £40 cash prize. We also have a junior class for under 16’s, with the chance to win our young photographer trophy.

To enter, please use the form below.

Entry is £1 per photo, payable via BACS payment/bank transfer to Lloyds TSB, account number 00929335, sort code 30-92-38. Please use your telephone number as a reference.

Your photos can be of anything that you see around the park, from plants or animals, to the weather, the sun, moon and stars! For inspiration, take a look at the gallery of last year’s entries.

All pictures submitted will be judged by our group of volunteers, and the best photos will go on display in the Countryside Centre and on or website.

Photography Competition 2018 Terms and Conditions –

  1. Entry fee is £1 per photograph and multiple entries are allowed.
  2. Photographs must be taken within Buchan Country Park.
  3. The best adult entry, as judged by our volunteer group, will win a cash prize of £40.
  4. The best junior entry (under 16 years of age), as judged by our volunteer group, will win a trophy.
  5. Closing date for entries is 1st December 2018.
  6. All entries must be submitted in a digital format via the fobcp.org.uk website.
  7. All entries must be in a .JPG/.JPEG format.
  8. The Friends of Buchan Country Park reserve the right to use photographs entered for digital and/or printed promotional materials, including items for which we may charge a purchase fee. Copyright will remain with the photographer.
  9. Entries may be displayed in The Countryside Centre and/or on the fobcp.org.uk website and/or Facebook page.
